April Meeting
April 10
Make a Felted Knit Rose.
Robin will show us how. This cute little rose can be knit in less than 1 hour, then taken home to felt. If you can cast
on, knit, and purl, you have all the skills necessary for this project.
Materials
Wool yarn - It takes less than 20 yards on size 8 needles so this is a great project to use up leftovers.
Knitting needles approximately twice as big around as your yarn (bring more than 1 size if not sure).
Yarn needle.
Robin will bring samples of completed roses, knitting instructions, and instructions for felting your rose at home.

Help Wanted
The San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles is looking for a new museum store manager. We were hoping that you would
help us get the word out to the textile art community about the part-time position we are looking to fill by forwarding this
e-mail to your members and or mentioning it at your next gathering. Certainly, it will be a great asset to whomever we hire
for this position to be knowledgeable
and passionate about textile arts.
Anyone interested in applying can contact Jane directly.
